INSTALLING, CLEANING AND STORING BLUM’S FITTINGS PROPERLY
Here are the guidelines to ensure the quality and functionality of Blum products:
IMPORTANT INSTALLATION GUIDELINES
- Only trained professional technicians can install Blum fittings.
- Blum products must be installed according to Blum's guidelines/manual.
- Use appropriate tools for installing Blum fittings.
- Installation should be carried out in a clean, dust-free environment to prevent contamination. If installation takes place during construction or furniture assembly, please cover the Blum fittings to protect them.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE GUIDELINES
- Do not expose Blum products to or clean them with any type of chemicals or liquids.
- Avoid substances such as cleaners, baking soda, dishwashing liquid, salt, and other kitchen chemicals: Acidic fumes, chemicals, and salt can cause corrosion on metal surfaces of the fittings.
- To clean Blum fittings, use a soft, damp cloth, and dry them immediately afterward.
- Do not use any hard, rough, or sharp-edged tools for cleaning.
STORAGE REQUIREMENTS
- Store the product in its original Blum packaging, keeping it sealed until installation to avoid damage.
- Storage areas or warehouses must be kept clean and dry to prevent corrosion.
- Do not place Blum packaging directly on the floor. Store Blum boxes on pallets or, preferably, on shelves.
- Keep Blum products away from chemicals. Acidic fumes can cause corrosion on the metal surfaces of the fittings.
- Storage time should not exceed two years.
These guidelines help maintain the long-term durability of Blum products.
