New design and even more efficient handling

We have optimised the proven ECODRILL assembly device to meet our customers' needs. The handy design and new, practical features make it even easier to assemble our hinges now than ever before. In addition to using it in the workshop, you can also take the compact hand-held tool to any construction site and operate it with a hand drill or cordless screwdriver.

The new ECODRILL can be used to assemble the following Blum products:

CLIP top hinge with BLUMOTION
CLIP top hinge
MODUL furniture hinge
AVENTOS HF lift system hinge
AVENTOS HK-XS lift system hinge

All features at a glance

One-handed clamping

Now you only need to engage one lever to clamp the ECODRILL in place. You can then start drilling straight away.

Side stops

The side stops can be extended and retracted and have a measuring scale from 80–130 mm. This makes it easy to adjust standard distances without having to remeasure every time and work on a marking line. However, there is still the option of working with a marking line as before (for example, in cases where you have to assemble three hinges).

Extraction

Another new feature is the integrated extraction socket for extraction hoses with diameters between 32–42 mm. Thanks to the additional, larger chip space, you'll be exposed to significantly less dust during drilling work.

Integrated angle template for mounting plates

The ECODRILL's integrated angle template lets you mark the fixing positions of the hinge mounting plates and adapter plates for TIP-ON and BLUMOTION, so you can work in a consistent way when assembling hinges.

Easy setting of drilling distance

The new ECODRILL offers easy access from above using one hand. Now you can set two reference dimensions – the edge distance as well as the dimension to the centre of the hole. A standard drilling distance range of 2-8mm is incorporated For bi-fold hinges, the required 12.5mm hole centre is also possible

Easy adjustment to material thickness

Spring-assisted self-clamping lets you conveniently adjust the material thickness within a range of 15–40 mm.
